I’m an Episcopal priest, a trauma therapist, a spiritual director, an educator, and a writer.

When I experienced a particularly traumatic season in my own ministry, I was shocked to discover how few resources existed to support clergy in their experiences of trauma.

As I moved through my process of healing, I realized that creating these resources might be something I was not only called, but uniquely qualified to do.

I’ve always found joy in the intersection of spirituality and mental health, studying both in college, pursuing a dual-masters’ program, training in spiritually-integrated psychotherapy, working in the interdisciplinary context of hospice care.

My call to the priesthood is deeply rooted in the sacraments as a place where our minds, bodies, and spirits experience God’s presence, healing and love. This inspires me, in every aspect of my ministry, to promote the same flourishing for others.

Now this is taking on new forms, in the work of trauma healing, spiritual direction, and promoting change within the church.

When I’m not doing all of that, I’m a mom of three, a wife, a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a neighbor always in search of a good book, new knitting project, or a good cup of coffee.
